As the title says, they placed an item in a shopping basket, gallery expired and when they try to login to pay the extension it won allow because they have items in the shopping basket

And that is a case of where I really want them to be able to pay and buy

I understand. I have no fix and no work around.

You will have to either unexpire the gallery or have them empty their shopping cart.

Or you could invoice them then manually add them access to the gallery from the People tab in the gallery.

This happens all the time to us.
Add "please clear your cart of expired photos before purchasing a gallery extension to your gallery extension message :)"
Maybe half the people read before calling. That means you just saved yourself half the headache . LOL

I love reading this support forum, I learn so much.

May I ask why people "expire" galleries?

Thanks! Liz

Hi Elizabeth, it is a marketing strategy to capture sales as quickly as possible or make a little more money to extend the ordering ability, to me it is more problematic in expiring galleries. I prefer to use the automatic price list option, IE "Order in the next 2 weeks and save 20%" then after 2 weeks it automatically switches to the full price, price list.

Hi Vance, thanks for the reply!

I thought it might be web space restrictions, I hadn't thought about that!
