Why Is A Foreign I.p. Address Appearing As A Customer

I have been experiencing a ton of foreign I.P. address appearing as they are a registered customer,Why?

Hard for me to tell why, but most likely those are bots hitting the site. Your host company might be able to tell you more.

Thanks Tim that was my thoughts on BOTS, i am seeing a correlation with accounts that i set up for someone that i invoiced, so there was not a I.P. address associated with the account. After i had added a random I.P. address to an account in the data base it stopped pulling that customers name. That will work, Just don't want to miss a customer that may be a bit confused and needed help. Thanks Tim.
