Hi,
Can you advise which version of PHP is currently compatible with sytist?
The search facility just finds this question periodically repeated.
Thanks

The current version of Sytist, 3.6.1, is compatible with the current version of PHP which is 7.3.

It appears that my Systist install(3.6.1) is running PHP Mailer Version 5.6.40? Is this possible? Been on the phone with godaddy support for 6+ hours today and they are telling me that my cpanel is running on PHP Mailer version 7.3. Thus the reason I have not been able to send or receive emails through the website for the last week or longer.

Hey Vance,
Thanks for your response. I have it set up as in your screen shot above. I have tried both from the Mail sending settings page. The SMTP errors out on the Mail Sending Setting Page but smtp is the only option that sends in the www.yoururl.com/mail_test.php if you are familiar with that. By receiving, I mean website contacts are hitting my email log but not showing up anywhere else(surly not forwarding to my email) on the server according to Godaddy.

I am encountering exactly the same issue. I am having to check the email log within Sytist as the emails are not being forwarded. This has already lost me one booking!

If you see the emails in the email logs then Sytist is working properly, Sytist calls the function to send the email, then it is up to the server to deliver the email!
