A Few Quirks...

I am using the coded system whereby a child will be called -ABC1234- and a group will be called -group-

I have one gallery, no subgalleries, all is good in the backend.

When I go to look up images for a child we'll call -SEBAS5574-, only 4 of his 74 images come up. Confused, I create a subgallery for him alone and transfer all 74 images. Because the -group- does not always work ( I assume due to subgalleries ) I add another -group- to this subgallery. When I check again in the front end, I can now see all 74 images and 2x -group- images. That's fine, better than none, rather be safe than sorry etc. No idea why the subgallery made him visible, but a fix is a fix is a fix and I put it out of my mind.

This gallery ( 6000 odd images ) went out today and some one has just placed an order with a little note if they could also get a "group" image as there wasn't one for sale in their gallery ( le sigh, a likely penny-pinching tale! ), so I check front end - enter their code: SEFG5687 and correct, there was no -group-. I enter a few other codes from the same gallery and see a group in with * their * galleries.. from the same mass gallery ?!

This happens a bit but it seems rather random. As I said, I figured it was something to do with subgalleries so now take care to add an extra -group- if I create one. What happens in the front end then is some people will see more than one -group-, some one, some none.

Today was my first non-sub-gallery gallery in a while as I continually test a system to work with me/adjust myself to the system so now I know it's not a sub-gallery thing, it's just kind of .. random...

Any ideas?
Thanks!

You will need to send me the link to your Sytist admin, the admin username and password (or create me an admin account by clicking Admins in the upper right corner of the admin pages), and the name of the gallery so I can take a look.
