Have searched the forum without success.
I would like to have a pre-paid gallery - know how to do that. The images will be for free download - know how to do that. However the organisation has some concerns re child privacy. Is there a way the gallery and its many sub galleries be viewed and the customer creates their own "collection" This collection must be approved before any downloads occur. Ie checking that only 1 child is in that collection I will have the organiser as the gallery owner and would much prefer that they have the ability to approve each collection.
Anyone know if this is possible?

There is not an option for someone to create a collection and download it after it is approved.
You should look at password protecting individual images in the gallery:

Or password protecting sub-galleries:
https://www.picturespro.com/sytist-manual/articles/password-protecting-sub-galleries-csv/
That way, they won't be seeing other peoples photos.

Thanks for the reply Tim.
Neither of those options are viable. 10,000 plus images Approximately 550 different athletes. 550 Sub Galleries would be a nightmare
I am changing my model for a lot of events to pre paid access and free downloads.
Sometimes Associations are happy with Password protected gallery and Individuals requiring account log in.
Some are looking for extra protection just from the 1 idiot that will misuse the system.
I thought there was an option to create a collection obviously I was wrong.
Any other ideas?

People can purchase collections ... like photo packages.
You can sell downloads and there is an option to not allow them to download the photos from their order until YOU approve it from the admin. That might work. But they would have to place an order. It can be a $0 where they don't have to pay anything.
But keep in mind, as far as privacy goes, anyone can take a screenshot of the photos and there is nothing that can stop that.

Thanks Again Tim
Yes that is what I thought collections were and have already set it up between posts. Used the $0 price and that did work.
I did set up a small test gallery but found the customer interface (on a PC) a bit cumbersome/slow.
The other issue is setting the number of images. Does it have to be a set number? or can it be up to a certain number" ie up to 15 images
Some Athletes will have 5 images some will have more
Will continue to play around with it and get some colleagues to test it for me.
Aware about screenshots etc. I think though with Gallery Password - Account required to view and Admin approve collection there are enough layers to satisfy the Association.
Enough protection to stop the idiot.

There is an option in the collections "Do not show what products are included in the collection.". So you can add 15 downloads to the collection and it won't show them like 2 of 15 selected. It will accept up to 15 photos.
