I have been setting up our site right now and I am wondering how to go about sending out a default email gallery invite for my subgalleries. Is there a way to input a csv with my recipient emails?

There isn't a way to send out an email on a sub-gallery basis. When viewing the gallery in the admin, click the People tab for the gallery. Then you will have a send email tab to send information about the gallery. And in that form there is an option to enter in additional email addresses.
