I've made it compulsory to be registered or create an account to view all galleries
However, since posting a new gallery that requires an access code to view, I seem to be getting just IP address listed in the recently viewed pages rather than the person account name (which I was getting previously)
Does having a access code for a password protected gallery negate the need to create an account first?

If the section is set so they have to be logged into their account, they would have to log in regardless of the password protection. It could be they are trying to view the gallery, but they are not logging in and not actually viewing the photos. It will show and IP address viewed that gallery even if they didn't view the photos.

Hi Tim
I’m seeing the same IP addresses listed in the sub galleries, so they wouldn't be able to get past the root gallery if they were just trying to view
I think I have the required to be logged in set globally to the entire website, or category

Ok, think I’ve worked it out
Was a new category and didn’t have require to be logged in on that specific category
I was assuming it worked globally on the entire site like photocart , might be worth adding that in an update
