Hi,
random customers keep getting blocked out, this only seems to happen randomly.
i just tried logging in as a customer and it happened to me as well.
error 'enable HTTPS for your website.'
my website is enabled but systist isnt? I've tried following previous instructions on here, but not having any luck. seems like when i first click on a gallery HTTPS comes up, but then when i try to log in with a facebook account, it says the site doesnt have ssl.
please help?
thanks
Shaun

Sounds like you need to do step #2 from this page:

Hi Tim, thanks for reply, but there's not an option to edit .htaccess file in my settings? looks like version I'm on is 1.4.2, I'm also getting emails saying to update for security reasons. but dont think i can without paying for the new version? Thanks Shaun

You will then have to edit the .htaccess file through the file manager in your hosting control panel (or download via FTP to edit it). '
The security fix released applies to Sytist version 2.6 - 3.5, not your version.

that's too long winded for me, I'm only a photographer. so I paid for the update. the update seemed to go ok, but still had the same problem with SSL. so I followed your instructions forcing SSL. now I can't log in to admin at all, I get page now found error message? thanks!

It may be the way the main site is forcing httpS. When going to the Sytist admin, make sure there is a / at the end of the URL. So it is like /galleries/sy-admin/
