Hi
I have uploaded the photos as PNG and tested the photos in Darkroom to make sure they are working which they do but I they don't seem to be working in sytist.
I have made sure the backgrounds I want to use a jpegs and made there own folder.
does anything have any ideas why its not working?

1) Make sure they are transparent png files where the background is transparent.
2) Make sure you have selected a background folder for the gallery too. See attached screenshot.

If you still can't get it to work, you can email me the link to your Sytist admin with the username and password so I can look over the setup.

I have sent you a message.
I tried a PNG file with no Green Screen background and it worked but when I tried the same file with a green screen as the background it didn't work.

You need to knock out the green background first so they are transparent png files. See this under "Preparing your photos":
