Client getting "empty response" when trying to download images.
This is the second complaint about downloading images that should be downloadable. Seems like this issue started when I did the resent update. Any suggestions of what I should check. (I don't have things set up for them to get link, can we not just have them click on the arrow to download any more?
Thanks in advance.

I think I figured it out. There was a setting of image sizes and once I changed that it let me download the image. Now to see if it works for the client.

If you are hosting at godaddy it could be something they have done (which they have many times) to cause an empty response error.
To fix it, download the Sytist files from the order you purchased Sytist on in the My Account here.
Unzip that download and upload the sy-inc folder that is inside the sytist_UPGRADE_files into your Sytist folder on your website using your FTP program overwriting the existing on and that will fix it.

Sorry to revive an old thread.
Tim, we're also hosting on GoDaddy and providing originals as a download to our customers. The download function for clients is taking a long time. I can only assume that the issue is with the zip file being generated. Each image is 9.7MB and the Download Zip File Limit is set to 20, changing it to 10 seems to address the issue.
I have a couple of questions.
1. Just wondering if this would be an issue with your hosted Sytist service?
2. Are we allowed to set the Download Zip File Limit on your hosted service?
Thanks

With that size photos, on Sytist Hosted you will probably be able to get about 40-50 images per zip file. You can set how many photos per zip file with Sytist Hosted too. You can sign up for a test drive if you want to test it out on Sytist Hosted.

Thanks for the response Tim. With GoDaddy shared hosting we're only able to set this option to 10, anything higher causes issues. Would hosting the images with S3 address this issue?

Won't be any difference hosting the images on S3.
