Delete Queue Very Slow

About 36 hours ago I selected 3 large weddings to delete and since then the admin side is essentially unusable it's so slow (it's typically very fast). The 3 weddings roughly had 1000pics each and all images were stored on S3. Surely it is not normal for the delete process to be this slow? I have experienced this before but within 24 hours it cleared and all was good.

Anyway to cancel or speed up the process? I have a very good dedicated VPS with my host and should think it more than capable of faster delete process.

The delete process is as fast as it can be. Usually pretty fast but it could be network slowness between the server and Amazon S3.

It only runs when the admin pages are open. The only way to stop it would be to edit the index.php file in your Sytist admin folder (sy-admin by default) through the file manager in your hosting control panel.

Go down to around line 618 and remove the line of code in red below.
