Quick Question Regarding Flat Rate Deposit

I am giving away a portrait session at a cost of $0.00. I do want to require a $99 flat rate reservation holding fee (deposit) good toward prints from their session in order to ensure the client shows up on scheduled date. When they purchase this, will the $99 become credit toward their account? or does it assume it's a cost of the service?

Best regards

It will not automatically become a credit to their account. You would need to manually add the credit to their account (which you can do by viewing their account in the admin).
