Just starting to use sales stats for the first time on our school photography.
I noticed that the total sales before taxes etc appears to be correct however it give kind of a weird report on what was bought.
It shows certain products but not others and list some a just "photos".
Is there any way to get a more accurate reflection of the actual product sold.
As I said the numbers seem to be perfect just the actual product/packages are poorly represented. Do I have to change how they are created in Sytist?

The 58 with no product beside it is probably from a collection set to selections only. Those collections don't actually have a photo product assigned to it so no product name to show.
Those total products sold are the products from the product base which are included the collections too.

Since it looks like only 1 photo is being selected, you can make that a standard product in Photo Products -> Product base instead. Just put in the description what is included. Then that product name will show up in the stats.

This mouse pad product shows in the first screenshot you posted from the stats / sales page.
The ME modern print package is a collection/package set to "selections only" so they are only making selections for that package.

Doing that "ME modern print package" like the mouse pad product in the product base since only 1 photo is being selected, it will show that product name in the sales/stats section.
OR make the "ME modern print package" a regular collection where there is actually a product included in it.
