Gallery Expiration Won't Change

So I have what I hope is a small problem.
I posted last week about uploading 700 plus sub galleries and I got that sorted out thanks to you guys.
Today I discovered that the gallery was expiring in 30 days.
Nothing I could do would change that. I did some searching and discovered that the Section setting could be changed . I did that for a neew gallery that was being created and it seems to have taken.
The problem is the one that was made 11 days ago wlil not change even though I have gone in and and set the section value to 300 days. It still says Nov 3 2018. iIt appears to allow me to change the date of the individual subgallery but it doesn't stick.
See attached files.
I need to solve this. If I have to delete gallery and reload I can live with that as it is "live" on the site but no one has been given any passwords yet and they don't know what is there.

Changing the default expiration days won't change in the existing galleries. You would just need to select the expiration date of the gallery like in your first screenshot.

It worked this time. I tried several times yesterday but it would not change.
Logged in and out and stuff. Whatever??? :-)
It's okay now
