Is there a way to view the gallery without logging in as a separate account each time?

I don't know what you mean. If you are logged into the admin you can view any gallery on the website without logging in. And there is no reason to create separate customer accounts.

I agree - but it makes me log in each time to view the client gallery. Something I have overcome.. but it is an extra step.

This is because you have the Clients section set to require customers to be logged in to view the galleries. That one applies even if you are logged into the admin. You should just have yourself a customer account and log into that account when viewing those galleries.
