I am very confused about how to handle the payment options set up. I have a new credit card processor set up, Clover Go (First Data). I don't know how to set it up so that I can use it for a payment option on this site. I don't know anything about what I am doing, so I don't even know what to go research about or where to start at all to get this figured out. I looked at the links to the listed options and that all looks like they would get me set up with another provider. I don't want to get set up with two or get into some sort of trouble that makes it so I have NO processors! I have clients who will need to be paying for images by the end of this week and I am in a bit of a panic.
HELP!

I have just been in touch with my credit card processor, First Data. The salesman that I work with and trust was great at explaining everything to me. I thought I would post the answer to my own question in case someone else is in the same boat. My company DOES use Authorize.net as their gateway. The reason I don't know anything about this is because I needed to set up a different account that allows for a shopping cart. This will actually end up saving me money. I will be getting information from First Data today on my Authorize.net information. Clover GO is just the reader I have that allows me to swipe cards on location. Long story short, if you hit this spot, call your credit card processor sales person and ask for help. I hope you get a knowledgeable human being to work with like I have!

I am having this same issue right at the moment. I can get a credit card to process but the relay response is not getting data from payeezy (first data) back to sytist to say the order was placed and paid for. Please let me know if you have any luck getting it all to work. I just got off the phone with First Data after 1.5 hours and they told me to see if I could get an answer here or I might need a new provider or website. I told them I was not leaving Sytist.

Yes, Authorize.net is the gateway that actually processes the cards for the merchant.

Lisa, are you using Authorize.net too? If so, if you have a SSL / security certificate on your website, you should use the Authorize.net AIM option in Settings -> Checkout & Payment ... not the SIM option. Sounds like you are using the SIM option and your host probably has a firewall or something blocking the authorize.net response.

Hi Tim, Thank you for the reply. I have moved it over to the authorize.net (AIM) but this is the response I'm getting. Please advise on what still need to be done.

That errors says the merchant login ID or password is invalid or the account is inactive.

So it means the ID or transaction key you entered in is wrong. Check the credentials you entered and make sure there is no space before or after them in the fields you enter them in.

See the bottom of this page on getting your Authorize.net info:
