Sub-product Options Have Stopped Working

Since first installing Sytist a couple of years ago, I've been using "sub products" for some items. All been working well, but has recently stopped working. Not sure when, as a customer let me know so could have been a few updates ago.
Here's an example: https://australianimages.com.au/galleries/stickers/toyota-stickers/70-series/intercooled-landcruiser-bonnet-scoop-stickers/
There are two sub-products for this item, being "2007-2016" and "2017-on". But it won't let the customer choose the 2017- version. If you click on it first, then you can't click "add to cart". If you choose 2007-2016 initially, then change to the 2017-, then it lets you add it to cart but it adds the 2007-2016 version instead.
It also doesn't update the display price when you select the 2017- version (it should be $5 more).
I've tried deleting and re-adding the sub products, renaming the options, turning off cloudflare. But no luck.

It may be the ( ) 2017-on (facelift/DPF).
Try removing those from the sub product and see if it makes a difference.

Hi Tim,
I had tried removing them without success. But you got me thinking, so I removed the / as well. And that solved the problem.
FYI for anyone else who comes across this post, after a bit of experimentation, I've found that ( ) [ ] / characters all cause the option to fail. Maybe others too, but those were the ones I tried.
