Placing Early Bird Date Tag In Other Areas

Hi Tim, I'm experimenting with using multiple price lists to enhance my 'early bird' product offerings. Clients will get tiered discounts and free products at certain purchase levels.
What I would like to do is show the Early Bird date elsewhere on the site - outside of the 'Early Bird' banner. Is there a DIV tag or anything of that nature that would prompt the site to display the Early Bird expiry date if I put the [DATE] tag in the code? (Or another method you could suggest?)
My ideal location would be at the top of a shopping cart tab, so I'd need to put that in a Price List > Product Group > Description.

Related question: the early bird discount percentage [DISCOUNT_AMOUNT] always shows with 2 decimal places ( 10.00% rather than 10% ) - can this be changed?

The only location the early bird special message is going to show is at the top of the gallery. There is no other location for it to show and no type of workaround.
To change the decimals on the percentage discount you would need to remove the [DISCOUNT_AMOUNT] from the description and type it in.
