Customer To See More Info About Their Event

Is there any way that a customer can log in and see an event that has been assigned to them..... BUT be able to see more information about the event other than the title.?

I get asked the same questions a million times, all these could be answered if the customer could log on and see information re their event.

All it would take is an extra field called 'Event Info', everything that is placed in this box would be visible to the customer too. I could fill it with lots of information that I want the customer to see which will hopefully cut down my bombardment of the same questions.

Couldn't you just enter in that information in the page text in the gallery?

Hi Tim

Thanks for the reply.

Yes I could do that, but then everyone else who looks at the gallery would see it too.

For example, a bride and groom on the build-up to their wedding day would like to see the info I hold about the event (after all, they booked me 2 years ago and can't remember what they booked or maybe the timings they gave me)....
They may also want to check how much is outstanding to pay...
Then after the event, I could update the page to tell them how I am getting on with the images, what stage they are at or what stage the album is at. Their home address so they know that I am sending the album to the correct address etc..

If I put this on the page text in the gallery, all the guests who log on to see the pics will also see the personal and private details to do with the event. Unless there is a way to make this page private for the gallery owner ?

It is not possible to do it like you are describing. You would have to create them a separate password protected page.
