Splash Screen

Just posting this again to see if anyone else has this issue or a workaround

I have still having trouble with the splash screen with some users in that the black veil remains after clicking to confirm as being read.

The main user is a major client with some serious security in their internal network which is probably blocking it as a pop up.. this means some 500 people can't see the images if I use a splash.

I have had this issue with the occasional customer before but assumed it was a rare browser setup. This time a whole organisation who I need to see the splash (to disallow commercial use of images for example by clicking I Agree)

If anyone else has this issue can they poss on any tips.. Tim has looked at it and agrees it is probably a browser security thing, but I could do with a solution if there is one.

thanks in advance

I have no idea what would cause that. It really isn't a "pop-up window" and don't think it could be a a popup blocker or security thing. Are you able to duplicate the issue? Would there be anyone that this happens to be able to open the error console in their browser to see if it is anything related?

Hi

thanks for thoughts... I have managed to sort it another way to give them a link to my other website where they can click I AGREE which sends them to a page on my Sytist viewing site , so I am ok for the mo and can face them tomorrow...

thus avoiding the need for a Splash ...

I can't get screenshots from this client.. I am expected just to sort it and make it work ... sorry i know that's unhelpful !!!

my solution works so i am happy for this customer which was the main worry ..

my customer is 180 miles away and not the sort of place I can demand anything from, to solve anything at my end..

Am relieved but happy to help by providing what info I can next time I am there ...

am happy to email you why if you enjoy sorting puzzles..

Happy with my solution for the moment and my panic is over

thanks for the concern
