Facebook App Review?

I am getting the message that I must submit my App for review by Facebook prior to August 1. Do I need to worry about this? Here is what it says:
App Review submission required by August 1, 2018 to retain access to Facebook Platform APIs
The Facebook App Review process and API permissions model have been updated. Learn more.
In order to maintain your current API access, your app will need to be submitted for review by August 1, 2018. If your app is not submitted for review by this date, you will lose access to the following permissions and features:
user_friends
user_link
user_gender
user_age_range
Please review the FAQ to ensure you request the correct permissions and features with your app review submission, and click on the relevant items in the list above to start the process.
If your app does not require the use of these permissions and features, no review is required, and no further action needs to be taken on your part.
For selected permissions and features, the app may also be required to be associated with a verified business, to complete App Review.

I have gotten those emails too and not really sure what impact it has. I think you can view your app in the developer console and submit it for review there. Of those things they list only the user_link is used.

I don't even know where to begin to answer some of these questions they require. LOL

The only place user_link is used is in the admin when someone logs in with Facebook and you can have the link to their profile. I don't think you want to give Facebook that screencast. I really wouldn't worry about the review because the user_link is not needed.

I thought it was a bit intrusive myself. To send computer programmers the keys to the kingdom seemed a little too much. LOL
