I have been told that my about me page does not work, indeed it didnt, so i created a new page and now that one doesnt work. Can anyone help.

It looks like you are missing the DOM extension in the PHP configuration and it is creating an error which is causing the page to not display.

You could upload a Preview Photo for that page (The Preview Photo tab) and should make it show.
