Search Issues

I am having an issue with the search feature. I tag all the photos in a gallery by player name, number etc.. When the customer searches for say Mike Smith 15 it brings up the older photos but not any newer ones. I tried to change the search oldest to newer, these galleries have few thousand photos. Also no way to page ahead i.e 150 photos of player #15 for past 4 years. only shows 30 or so. I am using this for a Pro Football team. Any thoughts. Am I missing something?

Tim an update these are in gallery with sub galleries Also most of the data is imported via META data

Sorry for the delay, I some how overlooked this.

For it now showing the new photos in search, are you sure those photos have keywords/tags? Maybe they didn't get imported for some reason. You can view those photos in the admin to check for the keywords.

The way I have always done the tagging was part of my workflow in Photo Mechanic. I add in the player name, numbers and other info into keywords and captions sections etc... When the photos import to Sytist this info has come over. I checked in admin it shows the info. "see attached photo". Let me know your thoughts and if this info is correct Also year or so ago we turned off via code insert you provide from having the caption show in galleries. Not sure if this is part of the issue or not.

Let me know. but as an FYI did not have this issue last season. so i not sure if it an upgrade issue or other

This photo in your screen shot, does it not come up when you search for one of the keywords? Looks like it should and can't think of what it wouldn't.

Not only does it not come up I only get 1 page of photos when I search for say #15 and no newer ones Not sure why either I can show you if you want to see and look into it more

I would really need to take a look from the admin. Can you email me the link to your Sytist admin with the username and password? Also the name of the gallery to look at.
