Square Payment Issue After Update

Square payment shows "website not available" after clicking submit. This is after the update. I uploaded a payment.php file you had sent me awhile back. Hopefully this will resolve it.

Just wanted to let you know.

Just tested the sight after I uploaded the file and Square works as it suppose to. You may want to include this updated payment file in the update since a few of us use Square, unless it is only an isolated few that this is happening to.

Square works for me as well ... just tested it. And nothing changed in the last update with Square and the file you are referring to Bruce is already in the Sytist update (last 2 updates).

Maybe Square was having a temporary issue.

Mine now works. Must have been a Square issue.

Weird, must have been an amazing timing. It didn't work after the update then I uploaded the file and it instantly worked.

I'll be honest, Square has more issues that any processors I've ever used. I still get the EXPECTED INTEGER VALUE error randomly. I happened to me while helping a customer make a payment. I talked to SQUARE and they said that this error is due the amount being charged is not a whole number, yet I know the form you have converts the charge amount to the smallest whole number by multiplying it by 100. Yet I still get random errors and Square has no clue why. So I now have a message to my customer that if the error occurs, please use paypal option.

Keep up the great work Tim, I look forward to knew features and updates.

Bruce,

I am looking at other options for payments. I have never had any issues with Square, but I have friends who own a gun store and friends that is a leather maker who makes holsters for guns. Square recently blocked their accounts due to having sales that had anything to do with weapons. Now Square is refusing to pay the customers what they are owed and a lawsuit is going to take place. I haven't had any issues with Square, other than a day or so ago. From your experience and my friends experience, I may go back to Stripe.

WOW! That is not a good way to run a business. I understand if they choice to become political, its their business, they have the right to do what they want. However doing so, they still have an obligation to pay their customers. What a mess. I will look into stripe as well. Thanks for the heads up Joe.

I had Stripe as my payment option in the past on my website only and never had an issue. I switched to Square because it use it in my place of business. I may switch back to Stripe on my website and look into switching to it in my place of business.
