The calendar opens up below the field and does not have a bold outline around it as in the demo, in the demo it opens above and has a large bold appearance. On mine it opens below, is greyish, and gets jumbled in with the text. Suggestions? Is it theme related?

Most likely, but I really need to see the page. Can you post a link?

Hi Tim,

It is not live yet as I am still working on it - we are finally changing our whole site over to sytist :)

It can be seen here www.myjiryanphotography.com/clientproofing/contact-us

Also 2 other questions regarding the form:
1. Is there a way to make the link have a standout button in the menu bar - like a box around the word contact?
2. Is there a way to make the phone number input field 3 boxes so that people have to put in there area code as well. We shoot across the country and not knowing the area code makes it problematic at times :)

The problem with the date field it doesn't know there is a form on the page because of the dynamic form (my bad, overlooked). To fix it, you can edit that page in the admin, click the Add a Form option and select a form there. Don't add the [FORM] to the content. It will tell it to load the CSS file for the calendar.

To make a button for a link in the menu, edit the link in Design -> Menu Links and make the text like this

<span class="menubutton">My Link Text Here</span>

Then edit your theme, click additional CSS in the left menu and add this code:

#topMainMenu .menubutton { padding: 8px; background: #000000; color: #ffffff; box-sizing: border-box; border: solid 1px #000000; }
#topMainMenu .menubutton:hover { background: #FFFFFF; color: #000000; box-sizing: border-box; }

You can adjust the colors ... 000000 is black and FFFFFF is white.
