Parse Error After Moving Stylist To Different Godaddy Hosting

I just moved my Sytist application. I followed the steps from support. I amended the sy-config.php. On the website admin page and the actual site, I get this error:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '' (T_ENCAPSED_AND_WHITESPACE), expecting '-' or identifier (T_STRING) or variable (T_VARIABLE) or number (T_NUM_STRING) in /home/azureblue/public_html/azureboutique/sy-config.php on line 7

That would indicate you have a bad character or something in the sy-config.php file probably where you updated the database information in that file.

I am going to guess you have a special quote in there which can cause that.

And what I mean quotes like “ “ instead of " "

You should edit that file in a text editor like notepad or perhaps through the file manager in the hosting control panel and check the quotes.
