Including Albums, With Options To Upgrade?

Hi,
We sell varied wedding packages, some include an album and some don't...
I'd like to be able to list all the albums we've created in our store, then give clients who choose package XYZ a coupon/code so they can choose the album included in their package - but also give them the option to upgrade to a bigger/better album if they want to. For clients who didn't already choose an album package, I'd like them to be able to buy whichever album they want (ok, that bit's easy)...
Can anyone suggest the best way to allow album package clients to choose their book or upgrade it if needed? I initially looked at creating a coupon code for each album type, but it doesn't look like I can add store products to collections?
Am I going about it all wrong or is there a better way to do this?
Hope that all makes sense!
Thanks,
Rob

I am guessing you are making the albums store products, but you can also do it with collections:
