Order Status Viewable For Customer?

I wondered if there was a way to show the order status to a customer when they view their orders on their account? I seem to remember this was a feature on Photocart, but cannot see it when I log in as a customer? It would be handy if they could log in to check the status, rather than contact me.

There is currently not an option to show the order status on the customer order but I will make a note of it.

Thanks Tim. Not a major thing, but it was a nice feature on Photocart, though might be a good thing not to have it when there's a backlog of orders! :-)

Didn't realise it was not there and told a customer she could see the status by logging in. eek!
I'll hold off telling them that for now.

Has this functionality been added? A lot of clients are logging in looking for an order status. Since they can't find it, it generates a lot of phone calls that could be avoided.

Is there any chance you could change the name of archive to closed. It would be clearer for the clients.

It appears many people wanted the status visible to client, but Is there a way for client NOT to see the status? We had client who saw her order was "archived" and was confused, so created a new account.
