Is it possible to setup a customer to be tax exempt?

There is not an option for that at this time (Maybe something for me to add later). What you would have to do is set up a price list with all the items not marked as taxable, then assign that price list to the customer's account.

Is this still a low priority item?

I hate the idea of maintaining a duplicated price list. We have a pretty extensive list of products. There is not a way to make a duplicated price list non taxable. Each item has to be duplicated and the taxable box unchecked.
