Mobile Check Out Issues

Someone else posted in regard to this topic and I had the same experience this past Saturday. I had some customers who were trying to make a purchase on their mobile device and they said the circle kept spinning and would not stop (they could not complete their order). I also tried on my iPads and experienced the same thing. The circle kept spinning and orders could not be completed.

I then used my iPhone X and all orders could be completed on that device. Does anyone know if orders can only be processed on certain types of mobile devices (like only the newest models)?

Thanks!!

The issue in the other post was caused by a product being set up incorrectly. There are no compatibility problems with checking out on mobile.

What type of product was someone trying to purchase that did this? Was it after adding to cart or at the checkout stage?

Hi Tim,

It was during the checkout stage. I had another employee handling orders and she said it would not work on some customers' phones (the circle kept spinning) but would work on mine (iPhone X). Do you know if the checkout can only be done on the most up to date mobile devices?

I don't know if it has to do with the phone or not. I would really need to see a screenshot of where this is happening at. That would generally indicate some sort of javascript error.

If it is some sort of javascript error, is that something I would need to fix on my end?

Not unless you have added some code to the files or head section.

I would really need to know the URL in the address bar, a screenshot of the screen, and the payment option being used.
