502 Gateway Error When Clients Download Photos

When my clients log into their albums and click download on any photo, or download all they get an error that says 502 Gateway Error The server returned an invalid or incomplete response.

Help I've spent hours on the phone with the host at Go Daddy and they're insisting it's a problem with the software here suddenly. Never had an issue until this week

The problem is with Godaddy. Many other people hosting at godaddy have had the same thing happen with downloads and square payment option. It is something they are doing that is corrupting a file or something along that line. Re-uploading the Sytist files usually fixes it. I just re-uploaded those files to your site so it should be fixed now.

Hi Tim, Thank you for taking a look at it but no, same issue.
http://www.theturningpage.com/clients/gallery/weddings/sara-jason/
Passcode Butterscotch

http://www.theturningpage.com/clients/gallery/weddings/shay-dyer-wedding
Passcode Tree-House

Click on download all or download a single image and you'll get the error page.

If you believe you fixed it, would I have to delete and reupload the albums? I'm happy to do whatever needs to be done, I have some very unhappy brides at the moment.

Hi Tim, et al,
Still looking for a fix for this! :/ It doesn't look like something I can fix on my end, and my clients are freaking out. Please let me know anything we can do to remedy the issue and get it back in working order. Help help help! Thanks so much :(

The problem is with the hosting / Godaddy. Nothing has changed in your Sytist files since at least Jan 20, 2018 but probably before that.

Here is the info for 502 Bad Gateway Server error:
https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/HTTP/Status/502

The HyperText Transfer Protocol (HTTP) 502 Bad Gateway server error response code indicates that the server, while acting as a gateway or proxy, received an invalid response from the upstream server.

Note: A Gateway might refer to different things in networking and a 502 error is usually not something you can fix, but requires a fix by the web server or the proxies you are trying to get access through.

It's not a coding issue but a server issue. You will have to get GoDaddy to investigate it further and also tell them it was working fine and no changes have been made to the code.
