Hi all
I'm not having much luck with alt tags. I have started going through and adding titles to my images in galleries, product pages and my blog however after viewing the page source I am not seeing any alt tags come through. The latest update made mention of the photo's title being pulled through to alt tags. Am I doing something wrong? The preview photo for the blog appears to be the only place I am getting an alt tag however it is using the blogs title not the image title.
Also a minor one however is anyone having issues with database backups not working since the latest update (i.e. it isn't doing them)?
Cheers

Where exactly are you looking for alt tags? Is it photos in a gallery? Or photos you have added to the text editor of a page? If you add photos to the text editor of a page, you will have to add alt tags there.
For the database backup, would have nothing to do with the update as nothing has changed there. Maybe your host made some changes that messed up that function or disabled the PHP system() command.

Hi Tim
I'm trying to get alt tags on all the images in the following:
Product images - https://www.luminancephotography.com.au/packages--pricing/
Blog preview images - https://www.luminancephotography.com.au/recent-work-blog/
Blog posts - https://www.luminancephotography.com.au/recent-work-blog/melika-newborn-photography-perth/
Not sure if any of this is possible - I hope so :-) I shall follow up with my host re: the backups.
Cheers

The photos on the blog post do have alt tags.
The others preview images don't have I have made a note to look into that.

Thanks Tim.
So am I correct filling in the Title info for each picture in the blog to pull it through to the pictures alt tag? Like in the screenshot.
Thanks for making a note about the other tags.

Yes that is the title tag it will pull from. If there isn't a title, it will use the file name.
