Maybe you could just create different sections for each and put the galleries in those sections. Have a main Portrait section and Landscapes section. Would be easier overall and all in one place.

As far as 2 completely different sites, that would require another purchase of Sytist.

Plus, runing everything through 1 site increases web traffic and search results with google.

Thanks Tim & Brian,

at the moment I have a section for portraits and one for landscapes. People have told me that what am I about? Am i a landscape photographer or portrait/baby/newborn photographer etc. So the next few weeks i'm going to try and work on a seprate site for my landcapes.

So that way for people that want artwork i can direct them somewhere else and then try and use Sytsit more for portraits / newborns etc ..

As for SEO since moving to Sytist I no longer rank in top 10 of Google as I did with wordpress.

Personally, I think it's far better to have separate sites.

You have to think like your audience - each have different needs from their photographer and landscape / portrait needs do not overlap.

It looks unprofessional to me - somebody trying to be a jack of all trades. Even though it makes things more expensive, e.g. ssl certificates are now slowly becoming essential and you have to buy multiple licenses for everything, it's worth it. You could try sub-domains for 'separate' sites.
