Collection Credit Percentage Option?

Hi Tim,

I have upgraded from Photocart and the one thing I use all the time is the percentage option on collections. We used to enter the value for a percentage or a dollar amount for a flat amount discount, but I don't see any documentation that it's still the same. I rely on that feature. Is the percentage option still available?

Thanks!
Hallie

There is not an option to offer a discount in collections like that in Sytist. But you can do something similar with the Extra Photo and Extra New Photo option in the collections. See this article on how to add products to a collection at a discounted price that are not actually part of the collection:

Thanks, Tim. What if I want to add a percentage off to additional prints that are not in that particular collection, such as, if a client wants to purchase a canvas in addition to the collection? Can I not give them the additional % off?

The link I posted above shows you how to add products at a discounted price that are not part of the collection:

Doing that way also allows you to charge more if they are choosing a new pose.

Thanks, Tim. I read it, but I overlooked the text about adding the products 'not in the collection'. It's a little confusing because of the button "add new products to collection", but I see now that the items are not actually in the collection because the quantity is set to 0. Thank you for clarifying! And let me say, you have done an AMAZING job with this cart. You have thought of everything! So glad I upgraded.
