Attention

If your Photo Cart is suddenly getting a 500 error or only displaying a blank page then you or your hosting company has updated the PHP (programming language) to PHP 7 which Photo Cart is not compatible with (and will not be compatible with) mainly because of the removal of the my_sql functions which are replaced with my_sqli functions.

You would need to have the PHP version downgraded to 5.6 in order for Photo Cart to work. If downgrading the PHP doesn't work then you may have to update Photo Cart to the last version of 7. Download Photo Cart 7 upgrade files. Upgrade instructions.

Photo Cart was retired in 2015. Check out Sytist.

Deleted Galleries Via Ftp - Can't Clear List?!

Realized I had a ton of expired galleries, so I went in via FTP and deleted them from my server. Makes sense to me that the only thing left would be the "shell" and structure of the galleries, correct?! Trying to delete them from the Gallery List, to "clean up" the house, lol. Keep "timing out" trying to delete even one at a time. Would ultimately like to be able to "bulk delete" if that's possible. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
Oh, and yes I intend to upgrade to a complete Sytist site this summer after our "busy season". TIA

I don't know why they will not delete. Maybe try to delete them directly from the database.

Photo Cart is retired but there is a batch delete in Sytist.

I did delete from the database first (via FTP), but it just kept "timing out" in the app, particularly on the larger galleries. Apparently I kept "attempting" enough, they're finally gone!! lolol.
You can bet the house and the farm that I will be going Sytist this spring/summer! I need to revamp my website anyway, and Sytist def looks like a one stop fix-all! I just have to get through my "busy season" before attempting to work on it. Thanks.
