Attention

If your Photo Cart is suddenly getting a 500 error or only displaying a blank page then you or your hosting company has updated the PHP (programming language) to PHP 7 which Photo Cart is not compatible with (and will not be compatible with) mainly because of the removal of the my_sql functions which are replaced with my_sqli functions.

You would need to have the PHP version downgraded to 5.6 in order for Photo Cart to work. If downgrading the PHP doesn't work then you may have to update Photo Cart to the last version of 7. Download Photo Cart 7 upgrade files. Upgrade instructions.

Photo Cart was retired in 2015. Check out Sytist.

Turn Off Tax And Shipping On Digital Packages?

Hi
I have digital packages set up but I do not offer digital downloads of the images (because I have to do further editing work on the images that my clients choose). For this reason I have set my digital packages to "not digital downloads". The problem is that tax and shipping are charged on all of my digital package purchases. How can I offer digital packages but not offer digital downloads so my clients don't get charged shipping and tax? (And no, there are no other tangible taxable items in these packages.)

Thanks in advance!!!
Shannon

When editing the package, there is an option for taxable.

For the shipping, a download option would have to be selected. Not an option to have a digital package without a download option selected.

Hi Tim,
I do have "taxable" set to no in the package already. It still charges tax... Any ideas how to stop this?
Thanks,
SC

I just did a test with a package set to not tax and it did not tax. Have you changed the tax setting since adding the package to your cart? If so, you would need to empty your cart and test again.
