Attention

If your Photo Cart is suddenly getting a 500 error or only displaying a blank page then you or your hosting company has updated the PHP (programming language) to PHP 7 which Photo Cart is not compatible with (and will not be compatible with) mainly because of the removal of the my_sql functions which are replaced with my_sqli functions.

You would need to have the PHP version downgraded to 5.6 in order for Photo Cart to work. If downgrading the PHP doesn't work then you may have to update Photo Cart to the last version of 7. Download Photo Cart 7 upgrade files. Upgrade instructions.

Photo Cart was retired in 2015. Check out Sytist.

We lost approx. 300 orders from the past few months. We can not pull accurate sales reports, manually searching for the missing order numbers shows "That Order Does Not Exist" We can see new orders now, but the block of 300 orders from May to Aug are missing.

The only way that could really happen is if a database backup was restored from an old backup. Photo Cart won't just delete orders. Has there been any backups restored?

No, but we did have to run a repair on a few tables that crashed in MySQL. Apparently the repair is not lossless.

I don't think a repair would cause data loss, but I don't know for sure.

If you have received orders that ended up being duplicate order numbers from the past, that is a telltale sign the database had been restored from an older backup,

The missing orders are from May to Aug however the events we added between May and Aug are still there. Everything except the orders from May to Aug is there. The order numbers missing are 24958-25232. In Sept we pick up at 25233, there are no duplicate order numbers. The events we added from May-Aug as stated are there but they show zero sales which is inaccurate as the missing 300 orders account for the sales from those events. Had the database been restored I would have thought more then the orders would be missing.

I don't have any idea then what happened to them. You can go into the PHPMyAdmin in your hosting control panel and look in the pc_orders table in your Photo Cart database and search the order id field for one of those order numbers and see if they are there.
