Attention
If your Photo Cart is suddenly getting a 500 error or only displaying a blank page then you or your hosting company has updated the PHP (programming language) to PHP 7 which Photo Cart is not compatible with (and will not be compatible with) mainly because of the removal of the my_sql functions which are replaced with my_sqli functions.
You would need to have the PHP version downgraded to 5.6 in order for Photo Cart to work. If downgrading the PHP doesn't work then you may have to update Photo Cart to the last version of 7. Download Photo Cart 7 upgrade files. Upgrade instructions.

I want on the first page which is a Category have a gallery that when you click it, it will open another page that will display the field to type in the access code. I don't want to have to go to the top of the page and press access gallery. The first page a generic gallery for all the team and individual shots, each of those have a separate gallery with a specific access code.

i don't know if you can have it display nothing but access code field but you can have an access code for sub galleries. enter into the sub gallery click the edit gallery tab access code is near bottom of window. you can also change name of the sub gallery and price list for the sub gallery here.
