Attention

If your Photo Cart is suddenly getting a 500 error or only displaying a blank page then you or your hosting company has updated the PHP (programming language) to PHP 7 which Photo Cart is not compatible with (and will not be compatible with) mainly because of the removal of the my_sql functions which are replaced with my_sqli functions.

You would need to have the PHP version downgraded to 5.6 in order for Photo Cart to work. If downgrading the PHP doesn't work then you may have to update Photo Cart to the last version of 7. Download Photo Cart 7 upgrade files. Upgrade instructions.

Photo Cart was retired in 2015. Check out Sytist.

Downlaoding High Res Files

hi there,
I sell a lot of digital files (as we all probably do) and I want to get away from using/mailing USBs.
Is there a way through photocart for clients to download the entire session at once. Currently it seems they have to download the
session, image by image, which can be quite time intensive. I have only used smugmug (my church uses for file archives) and smugmug has an option where you can download the entire session/shoot etc. It downloads everything in a zipped folder, I believe.
Forgive me if this has been answered before. I searched here for a while and didn't find anything.
I didn't want to have to pay to use another service each month just for file downloading, if photocart can do it.
Thank you in advance!!!

~Ashley

No, you must upgrade to Sytist to get that future. I came from photocart, it's must easier to do when you up grade.

The feature also exists in photocart. you can have it store high res in your cart for instant download or not allow that so you can work them over before delivery.
I use a program called file chute for creating zip file on same site that photocart is hosted on to send them the files. It is basically an ftp program that costs about $ 25.
what it does could be done with any ftp client as but it does every step for me. 1 creates the archive zip folder 2 uploads it 3 creates link to email to customer. saves time and is easier.
