Attention
If your Photo Cart is suddenly getting a 500 error or only displaying a blank page then you or your hosting company has updated the PHP (programming language) to PHP 7 which Photo Cart is not compatible with (and will not be compatible with) mainly because of the removal of the my_sql functions which are replaced with my_sqli functions.
You would need to have the PHP version downgraded to 5.6 in order for Photo Cart to work. If downgrading the PHP doesn't work then you may have to update Photo Cart to the last version of 7. Download Photo Cart 7 upgrade files. Upgrade instructions.

Why does auto fill code like "[SITE_EMAIL]" and "[CUSTOMER_NAME]" work in some text boxes and not others? I would like to add the customer name on their log in info, like to say "Welcome - [CUSTOMER_NAME]" at the top right of the page. Also would like to add my email address to messages like "Please contact us at [SITE_EMAIL] if you have any questions". Is this possible?

Because only certain areas are designed to show that. For the site email, just enter in your email address.

Are these fields shown in Google searches? I just don't like putting my email address on the web unless its encrypted, etc. So there is no way to have the customer name appear at the top right when they are signed in?

There is just not an option to show the customer's name at the top right when they are logged in.
Do you have a contact form on your website? If so, in the Photo Cart admin go to Customize -> Menu Links and add a link to your contact form on your website. That way you don't have your email address on there.
