Attention
If your Photo Cart is suddenly getting a 500 error or only displaying a blank page then you or your hosting company has updated the PHP (programming language) to PHP 7 which Photo Cart is not compatible with (and will not be compatible with) mainly because of the removal of the my_sql functions which are replaced with my_sqli functions.
You would need to have the PHP version downgraded to 5.6 in order for Photo Cart to work. If downgrading the PHP doesn't work then you may have to update Photo Cart to the last version of 7. Download Photo Cart 7 upgrade files. Upgrade instructions.
Photo Cart was retired in 2015. Check out Sytist.

Hi
I am still running PhotoCart 5. I need to offer high res file downloads starting tomorrow. I have never sold files for download before and thought Photocart could do this. Is this possible to have high res files downloaded from an older version like Photo Cart 5? I plan to upgrade to Sytist but I need this fixed today! The gallery needs to go live tomorrow. UGH!
Please advise!!

I'm in the same boat--still using Photo Cart (v. 7.1.0), and it doesn't look like I can offer high res digital files anymore. The price group that I had set up (which only includes digital files) shows the item crossed out.
I know I've done this in the past--is there any way to restore that functionality for a gallery that's due out tomorrow?

If download photo is crossed out, then that means that product isn't marked as a download. You should edit it and select the download option.
