Attention
If your Photo Cart is suddenly getting a 500 error or only displaying a blank page then you or your hosting company has updated the PHP (programming language) to PHP 7 which Photo Cart is not compatible with (and will not be compatible with) mainly because of the removal of the my_sql functions which are replaced with my_sqli functions.
You would need to have the PHP version downgraded to 5.6 in order for Photo Cart to work. If downgrading the PHP doesn't work then you may have to update Photo Cart to the last version of 7. Download Photo Cart 7 upgrade files. Upgrade instructions.
Photo Cart was retired in 2015. Check out Sytist.

Warning Date() Error Everywhere!!!

We have suddenly got a screen full of error messages on the back end of Photo Cart.
The client side all seems to be ok.
The error messages are all like the following:
Warning: date() [function.date]: It is not safe to rely on the system's timezone settings. You are *required* to use the date.timezone setting or the date_default_timezone_set() function. In case you used any of those methods and you are still getting this warning, you most likely misspelled the timezone identifier. We selected 'UTC' for 'GMT/0.0/no DST' instead in /var/www/vhosts/anaphotography.co.uk/httpdocs/photocart/admin/galleries/galleries.home.php on line 43
As far as I know, no settings have been changed on the server which will effect this.
Any help would be appreciated!!!

I tell a lie. It is affecting any NEW galleries posted, on the client side.

Me again.
Found the post to fix this, with adding the line of code into the setup.php
However, I now have a time for Los Angeles, instead of GMT / UTC
I tried setting it to 'UTC' but this didn't work.
Could you please let me know the line code to replace the following, so it will work for UK time?
date_default_timezone_set('America/Los_Angeles');
