Attention
If your Photo Cart is suddenly getting a 500 error or only displaying a blank page then you or your hosting company has updated the PHP (programming language) to PHP 7 which Photo Cart is not compatible with (and will not be compatible with) mainly because of the removal of the my_sql functions which are replaced with my_sqli functions.
You would need to have the PHP version downgraded to 5.6 in order for Photo Cart to work. If downgrading the PHP doesn't work then you may have to update Photo Cart to the last version of 7. Download Photo Cart 7 upgrade files. Upgrade instructions.
Photo Cart was retired in 2015. Check out Sytist.

Shopping Cart Does Not Show Qty For Digital Download

I am testing Digital Image File downloads ordering. At this point I am using the 'canned' Standard Pricing [Sample]. I noticed that once I 'add to cart' , then goto view cart the download shows being added to cart, but the quantity field is blank. When I proceed to check out, the quantity field still remains blank...... Is this the way photo cart works, that a download is qty null ?....is there a way that a quantity of 1 can be put into the quantity field, ,? ...

Quantity should be 1 on downloads. When you place the order, does it still show?

Yes but you have to goto thru shopping cart screen with qty=blank, then check out screen with qty=blank, then by the time you get to the order page, the qty 1 finally shows up. I would like to have the qty 1 show up in the shopping cart for digital downloads like this website that uses photo cart. My website cart shows qty as blank/null for digital downloads .... I'd like to sell downloads and it is bothersome to select and order something and not see the qty in your cart....

Is it actually showing a quantity field that is empty? It is suppose to show no quantity option. Can you post a screen shot?

Unzip it and upload the view_cart_functions.php file into your Photo Cart -> pc_inc folder overwriting the existing one. It will show 1 for quantity.
