Attention

If your Photo Cart is suddenly getting a 500 error or only displaying a blank page then you or your hosting company has updated the PHP (programming language) to PHP 7 which Photo Cart is not compatible with (and will not be compatible with) mainly because of the removal of the my_sql functions which are replaced with my_sqli functions.

You would need to have the PHP version downgraded to 5.6 in order for Photo Cart to work. If downgrading the PHP doesn't work then you may have to update Photo Cart to the last version of 7. Download Photo Cart 7 upgrade files. Upgrade instructions.

Photo Cart was retired in 2015. Check out Sytist.

My Photocart settings have my zoom preview to 950x950, but that is not picked up in Dave's so I have to remember to change that setting in Dave's on each upload. Can Dave's remember my preference?

Yes, either change the values on the Setup page or click the "Match Photo Cart" button to re-read the Photo Cart settings. Either way, be sure to close the program by clicking Finish rather than Cancel or the settings will not be saved for future sessions.

Thanks for your reply.

I have uploaded this morning using the "match photo cart setting", which then does display the correct values. After upload, finish and close does not prompt to save settings, so when I reopen Dave's it does not retain the corrected settings, but reverts back to the lesser values. I have seen the occasional prompt to save settings on Daves, but do not know how to solicit that prompt to see if these settings can be "saved".

Please open a Support ticket at https://www.letdavedoit.com/Uploader/support.php so I can work to resolve this for you.

For the record, the issue was that the "Remember these settings for future use" checkbox on the Setup page was not checked so the changes made to the Zoom image size were never being saved. Checking that checkbox (which is the default) resolves the issue.
