I used to be able to search a customer by last name. Now it will not search by last name, but first name only. Yes, I tested it on searching for "known" customers and it wont search by last name. I know it used to be ok. Anyone else having this? And I have another question for the geeks out there. (i know near nothing about using ftp, first of all.) When I delete old galleries through my admin, does it take them off the ftp server so that space is freed up again? Or do I need to somehow go in and delete them there too?) Thanks

If you delete Galleries using Dave's Uploader, it will make sure it also deletes the Gallery folder and all folders/images within it to free up space. You can also use the Shrink option which allows you to keep the Gallery (to preserve thumbnails in old order statuses) yet free up almost all of the disk space being used. For example, you can shrink a Gallery to be just the thumbnail images which doesn't require much disk space at all.
