Attention

If your Photo Cart is suddenly getting a 500 error or only displaying a blank page then you or your hosting company has updated the PHP (programming language) to PHP 7 which Photo Cart is not compatible with (and will not be compatible with) mainly because of the removal of the my_sql functions which are replaced with my_sqli functions. 

You would need to have the PHP version downgraded to 5.6 in order for Photo Cart to work. If downgrading the PHP doesn't work then you may have to update Photo Cart to the last version of 7. Download Photo Cart 7 upgrade files. Upgrade instructions.

Photocart Not Sending Emails

For a few months I have had feedback from customers that they aren't receiving emails to confirm their registration. I figured they were going to spam or something and didn't worry about it.

But I recently realized that no emails being sent from my photocart system are going out - even when I try the TEST email thing from Mail Settings.

I've searched these forums and have tried some of the suggestions to no avail. I contacted bluehost and they indicated that it isn't something they can help me with. They provided me with the error logs.

This is the info I got from them:

I had this small issue a month ago. It my was hosting sites issue. I called them and found out somehow I was flagged as spam. They went in and fixed it. I dont know who you use but I have Bluehost.

I have Bluehost too. So something in bluehost is flagging as spam and not even sending it out? Because it isn't showing up as spam in my mailbox when I test it.

Thanks for the reply! Any keywords you can give me when talking to Bluehost would be helpful - they wrote me off this morning. :-(

I just called and said my emails were not going through. Since they are marked as spam on the back end they never get out to a client to begin with. My email was sort of "black listed". He found it right away when he checked so it shouldnt be an issue. It took a few hours I think to get fixed on their end.

I am able to send & receive emails in my gmail (accessing my email account with POP3 - the same email address that I'm not able to send out through photocart using.

Just got off a 40 minute call with Bluehost again and they confirmed that it isn't anything at their end. HELP!!!!!
