Attention

If your Photo Cart is suddenly getting a 500 error or only displaying a blank page then you or your hosting company has updated the PHP (programming language) to PHP 7 which Photo Cart is not compatible with (and will not be compatible with) mainly because of the removal of the my_sql functions which are replaced with my_sqli functions.

You would need to have the PHP version downgraded to 5.6 in order for Photo Cart to work. If downgrading the PHP doesn't work then you may have to update Photo Cart to the last version of 7. Download Photo Cart 7 upgrade files. Upgrade instructions.

Photo Cart was retired in 2015. Check out Sytist.

Client Paired With Wrong Gallery/ Glitch?

A client submitted her order yesterday on her gallery, but when the order came through to me it was a completely different client's gallery image, and pricing. I have never had this happen before, and each of my client's galleries are password protected so I am positive she was placing the order under her own gallery....but somehow when the order went through it was for an image on another gallery and the pricing was for the other gallery. Can someone help? This cost me hundreds of dollars already.

Does this client know the person of the other gallery? Did she actually place the order herself and did she pay it?

No they do not know eachother and each gallery is password protected so there is no way the one client could have or would have accessed or ordered another's gallery. She was in her own gallery and went to check out and upon checkout it somehow because another client's photos and pricing. She did place the order herself and pay for it.

I really don't know what could have happened. Do you know if there has been anything done with the database on your website like a backup of a database restored or a backup of your website restored?

Nothing like that to my knowledge. The only thing different than normal about their gallery is that it did expire, and I extended the deadline so they could order. That has happened in the past however with other galleries and this has never happened. I have spoken with one other photocart user on another forum who said this happened to her last year as well. I just hope this doesnt happen to me again.
