Attention

If your Photo Cart is suddenly getting a 500 error or only displaying a blank page then you or your hosting company has updated the PHP (programming language) to PHP 7 which Photo Cart is not compatible with (and will not be compatible with) mainly because of the removal of the my_sql functions which are replaced with my_sqli functions.

You would need to have the PHP version downgraded to 5.6 in order for Photo Cart to work. If downgrading the PHP doesn't work then you may have to update Photo Cart to the last version of 7. Download Photo Cart 7 upgrade files. Upgrade instructions.

Photo Cart was retired in 2015. Check out Sytist.

Packages Confusion

Hello Everyone, I do a lot of Event photography and Dance photography. I sell a lot of packages?

This is something that happens that causes confusion to the customer and I am not sure how to solve it.

First the customer puts the package into the cart. (ADD to CART)
Then on the right they see the menu to add to the package? a little hard to understand, but they figure it out. (any tips let me know)
OK Here is the part they get lost on? they go up to their favorites and the package at the right goes away (Into my packages at the top)
They don't know or realize that and the little yellow script that tells them that has already gone away after the first pic was put in the pack.

Anyone know a solution to this? At this point the customer is totally confused and tries to add another package to the cart.
They also will give up because now they cannot figure it out.

I am sure someone has had this happen? I have started to really notice the problem after calling customers to help them order.
I am now seeing it is very confusing and I would like to make it easier for them to order.

Best would be if the packages on the right didn't go away until after they have completed the package. Or stayed there unless they wanted to go back to main menu.

Hopefully someone has a solution.

Thank you,
Jackie
