Attention

If your Photo Cart is suddenly getting a 500 error or only displaying a blank page then you or your hosting company has updated the PHP (programming language) to PHP 7 which Photo Cart is not compatible with (and will not be compatible with) mainly because of the removal of the my_sql functions which are replaced with my_sqli functions.

You would need to have the PHP version downgraded to 5.6 in order for Photo Cart to work. If downgrading the PHP doesn't work then you may have to update Photo Cart to the last version of 7. Download Photo Cart 7 upgrade files. Upgrade instructions.

Photo Cart was retired in 2015. Check out Sytist.

Hi,

A client of mine purchased a digital photo (small download), once transaction has been completed and clicked the "Download Image" button, the file is downloaded but couldn't be open. Saying "The file could not be opened because it is empty", with the file size being 0 bytes.

Not sure what's wrong.

Thanks

What do you have the size set for your small downloads? And is if bigger than the original size you uploaded?

Hi Tim,

Under Products & Pricing, I have Download image? set to "Display" size image. I had my Display Photo max set at 650 x 650, the original photo size was 847???226. I only allowed to have Thumbnail and Display photo created, and not allow an Enlarged or Downloaded photo to be created. I assume the digital small download would use the Display photo?

Thanks

Is the download product actually set to use the display photo? Are you able to check and see if there is an error log in the Photo Cart folder and if so can you email me to me?

The small download is set to use the display photo. Under download image it is set to display size image.
I checked the error.txt file and is empty, so I'm guessing I haven't experienced any error thus far.
