Attention

If your Photo Cart is suddenly getting a 500 error or only displaying a blank page then you or your hosting company has updated the PHP (programming language) to PHP 7 which Photo Cart is not compatible with (and will not be compatible with) mainly because of the removal of the my_sql functions which are replaced with my_sqli functions.

You would need to have the PHP version downgraded to 5.6 in order for Photo Cart to work. If downgrading the PHP doesn't work then you may have to update Photo Cart to the last version of 7. Download Photo Cart 7 upgrade files. Upgrade instructions.

Photo Cart was retired in 2015. Check out Sytist.

I was updating my page and now when I click the link to edit text there is no red underlined text to edit. I assume I deleted it somehow where would this text be in the mysql so I can enter some value to start editing again?

Go to Customize -> Text & Language -> then "Click here to view and edit all fields in the text database." You can edit it there. I don't recall the field name, but you can search the page (CTRL + F) for a word that is currently in that section.

Not sure you understand my question. The text that I am talking about is the editable text on the main page when a person lands on photocart I only have the menu and the galleries but no welcome text anymore. So to edit is says to click the red underlined words but I have none to click

Go to that section in the admin and search the page for hp_text ... it is probably blank and that would be the text on the Photo Cart home page.
